In 2003 and 2004, the Johnson County First Amendment Foundation hosted Banned Book Essay Contests for 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students.
Banned Books Essay Contest (2004 – 2005 School Year for Grade Levels 10, 11 & 12)
Six student authors of winning essays received $1,000 in cash awards.
